Current Update - February 22, 2006
Youngdahl is expecting to complete the Phase 1 tomorrow with copies mailed out to both Lewis-Pipgras and Carol Emerson. The Geotechnical Study is expected to be complete the week of February 26th. Lewis-Pipgras will be meeting on Monday, February 26th with Youngdahl to discuss the findings of the Phase 1 as well as steps involved with a Phase 2 along with a preliminary discussion of the Geotechnical Study prior to its final completion.
Biological consultant, Gibson Skordal, visited the site and sketched a rough, preliminary wetland delineation.
Civil Engineer, Gene Thorne, received and reviewed a preliminary engineering report on the Plymouth Treatment Water Pipeline prepared by AWA. He has forwarded a copy of the report along with a memo summarizing his thoughts from his review and other research regarding water & sewer. See the “Files” tab for his comments and the report. Gene is also planning to speak with Roark Weber, the City’s public works engineer, in regards to the expected allocation of the water supply.
We contacted Gene Thorne for his referral for a cultural resources consultant. He gave the name of Dana Supernowicz with Historic Resource Associates in El Dorado Hills.
After speaking with Paula Daneluk with the City of Plymouth, she recommended not giving a short presentation to the City Council. Instead, she recommended a one or two page handout that she can include with their meeting information. We will be preparing a document and scheduling a follow-up appointment with Paula to get her input and discuss other relevant items.
Title review with Tom Stewart at Downey Brand is continuing. Chuck Whitecotton, a mining specialist, was engaged to review exception #7, which deals with "reservations, exceptions, stipulations and conditions as contained in the following patents issued by the United States of America", listed as A-J. He has provided a letter summarizing his findings. See “Files” tab for the letter and attachments.
Tom, Frank and Sue met with Jeffrey Demure Associates on February 13th to discuss their land planning experience. Tom attended the Economic Development Committee with Carol Emerson on February 15th.
